Violeta Beral & Katie McDonnell, the story behind 1 image.
When 2 creatives get together interesting things can happen. When those 2 artists have an appreciation of the physical capacities of what a body can do interesting work will be produced. When those artists see architecture differently than how most people do interesting work will be produced. A photograph is a moment and action photography is all about THAT moment. It is the moment in the moment, capturing the 1 image out of many potential ones that allows us the viewer to see more than what we are shown. It is the relationship of the body in space and in the context of the image. It is a dialogue with all who are present, the photographer is in the image just not in a literal sense. Every piece of work is created from a lifetime of influences, of motivations and interests.
